The low stacked heel and leather sole are classic elements of a timeless shoe, and the Carol is made on our No. 108 last which features a clean almond-shaped toe and an elegant, feminine form. Style 3464 features the premium Oro Legacy leather, and has three-quarter Goodyear welt construction for good looks that will last for years to come.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
What some call a Chelsea boot used to be called a "Romeo". We call it the Carol, and it's based on a women's boot from our 1934 catalog. The distinctive elastic gusset on the side is traditionally called "goring" and allows for easy donning and doffing while still providing a snug fit.

S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for Oil-Tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles.
